Who are we?

CAR TALKS WITH MAMA and IMAGINATIVE IZZY are two collaborations between myself, Mama Kim, and our 10-year-old daughter, Izzy.

As two people who spend a great deal of time together, we’ve noticed how much sharing, exploration, and bonding we’ve been able to do. And, we never know what we’re going to end up with.

Each day, we have specific talking points we touch in on - what are we grateful for, what did we bring into the world, what made us smile, did anything make us sad.

Silliness flows naturally, as well. And then, there are times when our conversation turns serious, or deep, or philosophical. We talk through issues about growing up, friendships, and feelings.

I’m hoping you find this blog, and subsequently, our podcast, an expression of just what the soul needs to remind us of how much we are connected to the people we love, the community around us, and the even the universe, at large.

We also recognize that not everyone has this type of relationship or communication between mother and daughter. So, we’re using it as an opportunity to share what works for us and to be an example as to how we can process emotions, both by ourselves and together.
