What’s in a name?
Two years ago, I was encouraged by my mom to put some of the work I had been creating, paintings and photography, into a local pop-up gallery. Sure. I could do that. My thought was something like this: “I mean, I’m not an ARTIST, but I can send in an application for my art. I’m not going to try to fool anyone into thinking I’m an ARTIST, right?”

What does it take?
Quite often, after someone attends one of my workshops, I am asked "This is great! But, how do I keep up with this?" They are looking for a quick fix - a tool that will change everything for them. However, the answer is really quite simple. You have to be committed to making the change.

The reality of burnout
Have you ever experienced burnout? The kind that lives deep in your bones, that you can feel in all areas of your life. At first you wonder why you're feeling so sluggish. Maybe you're getting sick. Maybe you're not getting enough sleep... or eating right... or getting enough exercise. So, you try to rectify each of those areas.
But nothing is helping. And I mean nothing.

My dirty little secret
Here it is folks... my dirty little secret. My life does NOT look like a blog. Far from it! And yet, irony, because here I am, writing a blog. If you're anything like me, you work 5+ days a week, 8-10 hours/day, have at least one child you're raising. So, your weekdays are full and weeknights are jam packed with extracurricular activities, homework, bedtime routines, and more.

Listening to your inner knowledge
Intuition is that gut feeling. It’s the knowing, deep down in our soul about a path to take or decision to make. It is letting go of our perceived (mental state) ideas of what we should be doing, and instead, listening to the voice that resides inside of us.

Live in the flow
Finding your flow starts with being open to living your most authentic life. Finding your flow means finding your specific melody and harmony. Finding your flow opens yourself to embracing your unique magic and sharing it with the world.
So, I hear you saying “That sounds great! Where and how do I find my flow?”
